Systematic Scientific Research Team
Sinolight has nearly 7,000 employees, of which more than two- thirds have a bachelor’s degree or above and are professional technicians. It has more than 100 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 3 experts from the national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, and 1 person from the “State Ten Million Talents Project”, being an important “think tank” in the light industry and the main source of relevant industry experts for ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Substantial Scientific Research Achievements
Since the 13th “Five-Year Plan” Period, Sinolight has undertaken over 300 national projects. It has formulated and revised over 900 national and industrial standards, accounting for more than 80% of the total of relevant industries and has led the formulation and issuance of 15 international standards in the field of surfactant and footwear standardization. It has been granted more than 1,200 authorised patents, ranking at the forefront of central enterprises in terms of the number of authorised patents granted. It has won more than 1,300 provincial and ministerial level awards, and has established cooperative relations with over 100 foreign scientific research institutions and universities.
