N-Sukala S.A in Mali, was a large scale joint venture company for sugar making, established in 1960’s by the affiliate of SINOLIGHT Corporation and the Government of Mali, under the promotion of the Senior officials of Chinese and Mali governments, for Chinese Government’s aiding to the Republic of Mali in West Africa to develop its national industry, which covers an area of some 270 square kilometres. Through years joint operation by both parties, the sugar and ethanol produced has met over half of demand in whole Mali. The Company has developed into a largest agricultural-industrial-commercial combines, creating the largest number of local labor force employment, is the model of China’s foreign economic aid and joint venture co-operation.
