This project has the world's largest single garbage incineration and power generation project, with a domestic waste disposal capacity of 5,000t per day, which is 1.825 million tons each year, equivalent to the wastes produced by 6 million people. There are six 850t/d mechanical grate incinerators and four 25MW turbine generator units, with an annual power generation of 640 million kWh, capable of meeting the power consumption of 160,000 people. With total investment of RMB 2.43 billion, this project was put into operation in January 2017.
